Lilt, the premier AI solution for workplace translation, presented its latest developments today at its third annual AI Day, including third-party large language model integration in the Contextual AI Engine, self-service model building and training, and sophisticated programme analytics. As leading businesses hurry to implement a worldwide AI and LLM strategy, Lilt’s Contextual AI Platform provides a fast and scalable approach to delivering exceptional ROI from AI.
“As the speed of AI innovation accelerates, global enterprises are eager to look beyond the hype and build AI programmes that they can implement in production with best-in-class technology,” said Lilt CEO Spence Green. “We’re thrilled that we can now offer our customers the ability to orchestrate and manipulate company-specific LLMs that they can quickly operationalize at scale.”
Several new capabilities across multiple layers of the Contextual AI Platform were announced at the 90-minute live virtual event, including:
LILT-V3 Versions
Following the Spring 2023 release of LILT-V2, Lilt today announced LILT-V3, its next-generation LLMs with increased output accuracy. LILT-V3 employs cutting-edge methods for fine-tuning and prompting, as well as in-context learning and a training data system that optimises for domain-specific data sets and context. Larger neural networks in the model synthesise and generalise this information, interpreting high-relevance examples in real-time for optimal model outputs. Lilt customers can now progress their AI strategy for global customer reach and achieve remarkable quality at scale with these models in production.
LLM Support from a Third Party & Model Builder
Customers can now use Amazon Translate, DeepL, and Google Translate models directly within the Lilt Platform thanks to Lilt’s latest foundation model integration. With this new service, businesses may now select their preferred large language models, unlocking the finest models for their specific enterprise use case. The Lilt Contextual AI Platform enables thorough execution of customised LLM plans across workflows and business systems as leading organisations establish bespoke LLM strategies.
This third-party LLM support combines enterprise LLM preferences with Lilt’s proven production processes, linguists, and Translate tool, resulting in the best Instant Translation for their use case.
Model Builder
Lilt also unveiled Model Builder, a new management tool within the platform’s orchestration layer. Lilt Model Builder allows you to fine-tune third-party corporate LLMs for use in the Lilt Contextual AI Engine. Historically, the Lilt Platform has allowed for model fine-tuning for Lilt’s proprietary LLMs, with a continuous training cycle that feeds training data to models in real time as human translators and verifiers operate in the platform. Lilt users may now use Model Builder to fine-tune third-party LLMs using the same quality-verified training data.
Analytical Advances
Lilt also introduced expanded and improved premium programme insights with a series of advanced analytics tools that provide customers with in-depth insights on their Contextual AI programme and operations, all from within the Lilt Platform. This easy-to-use application provides configurable visualisations of critical metrics and program-level insights to enable strategic decisions and the optimisation of AI strategy, quality, and commercial effect.
These new functionalities are already available to Lilt clients and are enabling enterprise use cases across a variety of sectors and business units.
