Spotter, the business fuelling the YouTube creator economy, announces a stronger relationship with YouTube, which will boost artists’ efforts to reach a worldwide audience even more. The collaborative effort is focused to YouTube’s multi-language audio (MLA) platform and gives producers access to the resources required to dub material into other languages.
Spotter and YouTube are collaborating to make language dubbing available to creators who previously lacked the requisite resources and finance, as well as empowering them to use MLA to expand their reach beyond international audiences.
Spotter collaborated with MrBeast, YouTube’s most-subscribed individual creator with over 185 million subscribers, to assist pay the translation of his videos into 13 different languages. They recently collaborated to introduce a 14th language, broadening MrBeast’s reach to a bigger German audience.
“When we saw the impact that foreign language dubbing had on MrBeast’s channel, we knew we needed to find a way to bring that possibility to more creators,” Spotter CEO and Founder Aaron DeBevoise stated. “The largest hurdle for these creators in building a multi-audio model is often capital, which is why we’re thrilled to be working with YouTube in making these growth opportunities available to a broader group within our Spotter creator community.”
Spotter has also previously assisted YouTube creator Airrack with the translation of some of his library content into Spanish and Portuguese.
