PROEN Corp Public Company Limited (PROEN), a leading provider of Internet, data, ICT, and business telecom services in Thailand, has deployed Qwilt and Cisco’s Open Edge Content Delivery Network (CDN) solution to increase digital content and application quality and delivery capacity. As a result, it becomes an active member in the content distribution value chain, collaborating with content publishers and enterprise customers throughout Thailand to provide streaming media and data efficiently and quickly.
PROEN will embed Qwilt’s Open Caching-based architecture deeply into its network edge as part of the deployment, allowing it to deliver greater data volumes throughout its network and improve the quality of experience for end customers throughout Thailand. The collaboration provides PROEN with next-generation content delivery infrastructure and open APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) to content publishers wishing to distribute high-quality content. The deployment will comprise the activation of Open Caching services at numerous scattered PROEN sites around Thailand to provide full-country coverage.
